@RobertKennedyJr

After Volodymyr Zelensky’s 2019 landslide victory on a peace platform, White House Neocons like Kurt Volker and Victoria Nuland tag-teamed with Ukrainian ultranationalists to pressure President Zelensky to adopt an uncompromising stance toward Russia and to rebuff Russia’s many attempts at peaceful settlement.

Zelensky had campaigned for ratification of the Minsk Accords — a Russian-backed settlement that would have left Donbas as part of Ukraine, but with sufficient autonomy to protect the language, culture, and safety of its ethnic Russian population.

I guess he was promised tons of money. If not, as a responsible President, he should have told Nuland and others to leave immediately. The best decision for the Ukraine to move forward.

Of course he would. With Trump there would not have been a war in the first place. It's the f* irresponsible and demented low life that causes all the problems.

Besides, heard in the news he needs to raise the debt ceiling again yet has no problem to sent 100 Billon of tax payers money to the Ukraine. Outrageous, to say the least. Rep law makers should be asking for the accounting details first to proof where to the money went and how it was used. The Biden crime family is corrupt as hell and I would not be surprised with Millions finding the way back to him.

Ha ha, you really couldn't make this shit up.

According to the FT Washington is trying to organize a meeting between US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin and China's defense chief Li Shangfu in Singapore on the sidelines of the Shangri-La Dialogue regional security forum, which is due to be held June 2-4.

The Chinese side made it clear that the meeting was hindered by sanctions imposed by the United States against Li Shangfu.

A meeting between US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin and his Chinese counterpart Li Shangfu in Singapore in June is unlikely as long as US sanctions against China's defense chief remain in place, the Financial Times reported, citing sources.

UKRAINE’S PRESIDENT ZELENSKY: WE NEED MORE TIME FOR THE UKRAINE COUNTEROFFENSIVE.

According to Zelensky, Ukraine is still waiting for the supply of Western weapons and cannot attack right now.

“We can go ahead and be successful. But we will lose a lot of people. I think this is unacceptable. Therefore, we need to wait. We need a little more time,” he said.
According to Zelensky, NATO-trained brigades are “ready” for combat , but the Ukrainian Armed Forces still need “some things,” including armored vehicles.

InfoUK to donate long-range missiles to Ukraine

Looks like the UK is sending longer range missiles to Ukraine, the US refused Ukraine's request. A little surprised the US let the UK do it, firing cruise missiles across Russia's border sounds really dumb.

The other problem is just what do the Ukrainians intend to hit, so far they have concentrated on oil depots, but Russia has oil coming out of it's ears so not much use that.

Will be interesting to see how Russia respond, will at least respond in kind by increasing attacks on western Ukraine positions. They have threatened the UK with 'consequences', and there remains the possibility of a defensive nuke response. Russia has a lot more missiles than the UK does.

“The Ukrainian offensive has begun. Russian troops in panic!”:

Bild read messages in the Russian telegram, was impressed and informs readers that Ukraine is winning again.

But the reality is that Ukraine forces have tried to attack at various locations for the last 3 days. Small, poorly supported and quickly pushed back which is why I've not bothered to mention them but WP and the WSJ have started to report them as well so,

Ukrainian military analysts:
"Many of the positions taken yesterday in the Bakhmut region have been brought back under their control by the units of Wagner and the Russian army, so the information about the breakthrough of the Russian lines and the encirclement of the Russian forces in Bakhmut is premature.

The Russian army launched 46 air strikes, as well as 6 missile strikes, and carried out 69 attacks from the MLRS, the evening summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said.

At the same time, the aircraft of the Armed Forces of Ukraine inflicted 13 strikes.

As of morning, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have already recorded 59 air and 95 attacks from the MLRS on the positions of Ukrainian troops, according to a recent summary of the General Staff.

Total: 145 air strikes, 6 missile strikes and 164 shelling from MLRS were inflicted on Ukrainian targets in a day.

Meanwhile China about to start tour of region in prep for negotiations.

China's special envoy on Eurasian affairs Li Hui will travel to Ukraine, Poland, France, Germany and Russia to communicate with all parties on the political settlement of the Ukraine crisis, Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Wang Wenbin told a press conference on Friday.

With the west only ever seeking continuous micro escalations but never enough to actually beat Russia this is probably Ukraine's best chance of survival.
