As predicted no western main stream media carried this story.

The Ukrainian army held up the UN inspectors at the frontline crossing point for 3 hours then used their arrival at the nuclear power plant as cover to launch a commando attack in a bid to recapture the plant but were repelled by Russian troops.

As in the clip above the UN thanked the Russian army for protecting the inspection team and the delegates themselves issued a statement to say they would keep representives at the power plant indefinitely.

News, right!
For a technical trader this was - I would say - a typical example of a MMO (measured move objective; one can see it very well on H1):
"This combination of impulse/retracement/impulse pattern leads to a three-legged structure that should be considered the standard trend structure. A rough profit target for the follow-through leg, the trend leg following the pullback, is the so-called measured move objective (MMO), which assumes that the CD leg in Figure 3.12 will approximately equal the length of the AB leg.
Treat this relationship as a rough guideline; all proportions and ratios work in markets simply because they express the magnitude of fluctuations that are normal for any particular market."
And after the test of the daily TF price moved where everyone expected it to go.

It can't just be stupidity and incompetence alone, govts must really be trying to bring it all down.

Power price rises expected to force 70% of hospitality businesses in the UK to close for good.

And so ...

''G7 nations decide to cap payments in bid to defund Kremlin war machine.''

And so a fews hours later ...

Nord Stream gas supply pipeline from Russia will be closed indefinitely after 'oil leak was found'.

''NS1 is down for good my bros. Russia has turned off the last trickles of gas to Germany, indefinitely - after letting us fill our reserves to 85%.

It’s going to be a hard winter.''

Prolonging the war in the Ukraine for as long as possible seems to be the goal.

''Biden Administration Plans to Ask Congress for Another $14 Billion For Ukraine.''

https://theconservativetreehouse.com/bl ... r-ukraine/

Meanwhile ...

There seems to be a news black out on the recent Ukrainian military actions in Kherson and Zaporizhzhia.

Zelensky and Boris Johnson reportedly had an emergency tele talk after the actions.

And then, dumb and dumber ...

''G7 Russian oil price cap one of 'most powerful' tools to fight inflation, Yellen says

This doesn't even try to make any sense.

''They said the goal is to set a cap high enough that it is worth it for Russia to continue selling oil, but low enough that it hurts the country's economy and hinders Putin's ability to fund his war in Ukraine.''

Doomberg @DoombergT

This is from the New York Times yesterday. Utter nonsense. Russia is CHEERING our "phase out" of oil and gas, because it is causing prices to skyrocket. The only thing we are phasing out is supply, not demand. We're so screwed.

Exactly.
