See posts 1 and 2 of the TMA indicators thread (link below) where mladen explains the difference between TMA and mladen's recalculating centered TMA. Unfortunately many coders who have made (or swiped) the centered TMA did not include centered in the title so you won't know unless you try it.

Look for the MA position of the prior few candles to slighty adjust on the most recent candle close to see if the moving average smooths itself out.
