USAID said SpaceX donated 3,667 Starlink terminals and related internet services worth $10 million to Ukraine, and the agency purchased an additional 1,333 terminals for a total of 5,000 terminals delivered to Ukraine. Musk, the richest man on the planet, is a deep player in this war. At the beginning of the war, the Starlink technology he opened to Ukraine provided the most secure and stable communication for this war-torn country. Musk is arguably the richest international volunteer ever.

US media: Obama wants to rewrite the history of black Russia

The Wall Street Journal editorial pointed out that Russia's invasion of Ukraine has triggered a political dumping effect. Politicians have clarified their past and Russian President Vladimir Putin's dark history.

The editorial mentioned that Obama said at an event in Chicago: "As someone who has responded to the (Russian) invasion of Crimea and eastern Ukraine, I am encouraged by the European response (this time). Because 2014 I often have to force them to respond in the way we want to see in self-proclaimed Western democracies.”

Obama claims to be surprised by Vladimir Putin's brutality. "I didn't know this guy I knew was the same guy who was attacking now," Obama said. "He was always ruthless. You saw him in Chechnya, and he didn't hesitate to crush those he saw as A threat. This is nothing new. Five years ago I didn't necessarily expect him to go all out in this way."

Obama claimed he supported tougher measures against Russia after the 2014 invasion of Crimea and Ukraine. In fact, the Obama administration offered only modest targeted sanctions, and later joined Russia in negotiating a nuclear deal with Iran.

Obama also refused to sell the anti-tank weapon Javelin to Ukraine. Washington also remained silent as Germany moved forward with plans for the Nord Stream 2 pipeline during this period, until Trump took office.

The editorial believes that Obama cannot claim to be ignorant of Putin's intentions and tactics at the time. It is said that Putin was able to climb to a high position by bombing the Chechen Republic under the Russian Federation. The U.S. intelligence agency undoubtedly knew or highly suspected it. Even Obama himself admitted that Putin's attack on the Chechen capital Grozny in 1999 was quite "brutal". .

In addition, Russian journalist Anna Politkovskaya and dissident Alexander Litvinenko were assassinated in 2006, and Putin delivered a provocative speech criticizing NATO in Munich, Germany the following year. It invaded Georgia in 2008.

Obama also dispatched then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in 2009. Hillary Clinton traveled to Geneva to discuss a "reset" of U.S.-Russian relations with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

In 2012, Obama criticized Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney for viewing Russia as a threat, sending foreign policy back to the 1980s. Obama also told Putin's confidant Dmitry Medvedev that he would be more lenient with Putin after the U.S. presidential election.

In 2014, in addition to the Russian invasion of Crimea and the Donbas region of Udon, there was also the tragic shooting down of Malaysian Airlines flight MH17 by Russian-related forces over Udon.

Russia then bombed the Syrian city of Aleppo with cluster bombs in 2015 and 2016. Putin accelerated the crackdown on domestic dissidents, and his remarks against NATO and Ukraine's independent status also intensified. He even interfered in the US presidential election in 2016. Obama punished Russia with mild sanctions only after Trump won the election.

All of the past is relevant to the present, as the administration of current US President Joe Biden is filled with people who worked for Obama who also agree with Obama's miscalculation of Russia.

The Wall Street Journal believes that Obama's weakness in the face of Russia, coupled with former German Chancellor Angela Merkel's easing policy toward Putin, is one of the reasons Putin feels he can become more arrogant and escape punishment. So no one should believe Obama's whitewashing of his past Russia policy.

thiru wrote: Sun Apr 10, 2022 2:00 pm Absolutely. I'm sick of telling people that these 3 companies own almost the entire market space. These guys decide every damn thing including the war, if you like it or not. The media, pharmaceuticals, etc etc are controlled by these fellows. If you guys still got any doubt, go to yahoo finance and check the shareholder listing of any god damn known company...

Ukraine is something that they are using to pursue their own agenda (what's the agenda, only God knows). in this game Russia and Ukraine are casualties. Two countries that are culturally similar for centuries will be enemies forever.. and they keep pushing the Putin agenda. Why? they simply could not break Russia for their own benefits.. Why Russia again, it's the energy superpower and they don't have control over that. When are you guys going to understand this?

People are dumb and get carried away with media nonsense.

It is refreshing to see, some people do look at the underlying facts and not just repeat what the media tells them.
Yes, these companies do pretty much own the planet....i.e. are in control of the media, pharmaceuticals, oil, weapons manufacturing and and......
As someone said " They have been and still are involved in every war. There is no use of manufacturing weapons if those are not being used. The manufacturers would be out of business". Thus there must be wars, invasions and supporting "the other side", like it is in the case of the Ukraine. And as the own the media, they manage to manipulate those tax payers to believe they are helping, protecting...... In reality they could not care less. It's huge business and the tax payers of the donating countries pay for it. How convenient. Just like they manipulated the vaccinated to defend those useless "vaccines" and pay for the overpriced stuff too.
Oh, and don't expect Musk to be on our side.......... :D

Musk is going to make a big move! Wholly-owned acquisition of Twitter to create a privatized free speech platform.
In a letter to Twitter chairman Brett Taylor, Musk said, "I invested in Twitter because I believe it has the potential to become a global platform for free speech, which I believe is necessary for a democracy to function properly. social conditions."
However, Musk said that since the investment, he realized that Twitter "will neither thrive nor serve free speech," and as a result, Twitter must be privatized.

The U.S. reopens the Lend-Lease Act on April 6:

The "Lend-Lease Program" is an antique of World War II, but it is one of the keys to the victory of World War II. It is with this Act that the United States broke through the previous practice of requiring cash settlement for arms transactions, and switched to credit settlement or even value exchange. , free gifts, etc., to convert the powerful industrial capabilities of the United States into arms support, and use the power of one country to support allies on multiple fronts such as the Soviet Union, the United Kingdom, France, and China. Throughout World War II, a total of $50.1 billion worth of supplies reached the Allies. $31.4 billion worth of supplies went to the UK, $11.3 billion worth of supplies went to the Soviet Union, $3.2 billion worth of supplies went to France, $1.6 billion worth of supplies went to China, and $2.6 billion worth of supplies went to the rest to other allied nations.

It is no exaggeration to say that without Lend-Lease, Britain, the Soviet Union and France would not have survived the day of the counter-offensive. And the United States has completely established its status as a world policeman through this bill, which seems to be losing money.

With the national strength of the United States today, if the Ukrainian country is supported regardless of the cost according to the Lend-Lease Act, then it is certain that Ukraine will be able to afford it no matter how long the war lasts.

When the Soviet army was beaten up by the German army and Moscow was almost unable to defend, the United States gave the Soviet Union assistance under the Lend-Lease Act: more than 14,000 aircraft, more than 7,000 tanks, nearly 500,000 cars, more than 12,000 armored vehicles, More than 7,000 artillery pieces and countless guns, ammunition and strategic materials. At the same time, the Soviet Union also leased up to 672 ships from the United States. In addition, the United States also provided 1,911 steam locomotives, 66 diesel locomotives and 11,075 train cars of various types. The locomotives and supporting facilities provided by the United States to the Soviet Union accounted for 92.7% of the Soviet Union's wartime use.

No kidding! you are obviously not aware that those Starlink connections are paid by the American taxpayers. The poor guy does not spend a Cent of his own money.

Supposedly: In 1992, a mathematician named Stefan Mandel won the $27,036,142 first prize, 6 second prizes, 132 third prizes, and 135 minor prizes in a lottery draw, totaling more than 30 million, because he bought more than 5.5 million lottery tickets, almost every possible combination... Mandel invented an algorithm and used it to win 14 jackpots, because of him, 44 states with lottery tickets in the United States have changed their laws.
