Im like any trader who makes mistakes
The thing is until when will we / I keep repeating the same mistakes.
How can we cut down our mistakes?
We are following Xard's Trend Following Trading System.
From the thread name "Trend Following", but we still end up taking counter-trend trades
which don't move far and get us in trouble.

Take a look at the 2nd dot triangle which got printed today on US30 M30 timeframe.
After the triangle got printed price didn't drop, instead it reversed. Why?
Because the UP trend is still strong :Fire:

I also agree that the Xard system works against the trend, it follows the trend only after a correction, and when it is growing, it goes against the trend, similarly in the opposite direction. It is very difficult to catch large movements along it.

OK, based on some of the feedback lately I would like to post this version for everyone's perusal.
It simplifies the trend following trading system. Works on ALL TFs

XARD: Use the Orange ZZ line as your Intra-Day BIAS - Use the White Dot as your IntraDay HIGH/LOW - Use the White ZZ line for IntraDay EXIT - After a new Orange ZZ line appears, WAIT! for price to cross the Trend line to confirm a change in the Trend Cycle.

Hi XARD,

First of all Thanks for this great system and your wish to share it with us. From last update I realize that PFO and HiLo column values on Dash indicator is show properly only on USDJPY pairs. In all other pairs that I am using it doesn't show properly.

Thanks again.

I think the background-change based on EMA9-36-slope-colour-change does - all in all - a better job because you stay closer to price action.
To change background colour when EMA144 changes direction keeps you out of many good trades.
But as always: (seemingly) the more security you want the later you enter your trade.
And you can always turn background off: it should be possible for anyone to SEE when to MAs change colour even without background colouring.

I think the best work of the teacher in the past 10 years is these two triangle indicators: XU v3-2nd DOT and XU v3-2nd Dot TF+1. The last published (default) two triangle indicators without color filling are good. I wonder if the algorithm of the two triangle indicators has changed? If there is no change, I will use those two hollow versions.

How can I have an empty triangle like this shot?

Well, I didn't expect such an insightful reply. :) Thank you very much. I have an i5-4460 CPU, 16 GB RAM and, alas, not a dedicated graphics card, so my understanding is I should forget about Windows. I'm still wading through the ginormous amount of posts in this thread and I haven't read about linux yet. But basically would it be ok to have a dedicated partition for Linux and then run a Windows emulator and MT4 from there? Thank you.
P.S. - By 32 bit what do you refer to?
In this thread they advise to use wine from linux.
I also advise you the same, linux is the best in performance, with the exception if you bought the latest hardware model, then you must wait, with your pc you will be fine.
32 bit meant that it is already out of date. Why MT4 32 bit only? laugh don't answer

hi............ why 32 bit is so frown upon??
I would never have switched to 64bits, they forced me to use updated software. Manufacturers are gradually abandoning updates, and the OS fall as well. Then 128bit OS? who knows. MT4 can leave the updates tomorrow.
