China and South Korea also have one thing in common - universal mask wearing. WHO tells us that it's pointless to wear a mask unless you are sick, but this virus has a long incubation period and plenty of asymptomatic carriers who are spreading it without even knowing. When they wear a mask, they can't spread it nearly as much. I know WHO issued that statement to make sure masks were left for medical personnel, but even a homemade mask works.

Russia, mystery about coronavirus: few infections but a maxi hospital is being prepared

For now, Russia is an enigma. In fact, since the new coronavirus epidemic broke out, it has recorded only a few cases and has managed to avoid the draconian measures adopted by China and Europe. The fear, as always in these cases, is that the authorities hide the real data. On the one hand, there is the possibility that Moscow has been fast enough to introduce containment measures to the virus - checks on Chinese citizens starting from January 23, with subsequent total closure of the border, as well as on the entrances from the risky aircraft, including the Europe, from the end of February - and, on the other, different results on the tests due to a different two-phase procedure adopted by the Vektor laboratory in Novosibirsk. Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has denied that the authorities are "hiding" the reality of the facts. The feeling is that the coronavirus wave is mounting. A hospital dedicated to the cases of Covid-19 is in fact being built on the outskirts of Moscow and, both in the capital and in other cities, the restrictive measures on gatherings and the attendance of schools are increasingly tightened.

Who is aware of the number of real victims in China?

Since the outbreak of the epidemic, the Chinese government has been accused of hiding information from the international scientific community and the true figures of the epidemic, also considering the change in the criteria for counting the number of victims. And now, while China returns to normal and almost exclusively reports cases of "return" contagion, an investigation by the Chinese newspaper Caixin - taken up in English by Shanghaiist - believes that the deaths in Wuhan may have been many more than say the official figures, which speak of 2535 victims and 50 thousand cases. The estimate is 42 thousand dead.
The hypothesis, documented by numerous photos, stems from the huge amount of urns that arrived in the funeral honors and the long lines of relatives who have formed this week to collect the remains of their loved ones. There are testimonies that speak of five hours of waiting. The doubt was also triggered by the testimony of a truck driver who reported having brought a load of 2500 urns to Hankou's funeral pump for two consecutive days, then 5 thousand in 48 hours. Other images then show other piles of urns inside the funeral home in blocks of 500, for a total of 3,500 pieces. In each of the eight funeral honors in the city, up to 500 urns are distributed per day until April 4 and Caixin writes that if what happens in Hankou was also happening in the other seven funeral homes, then there would be over 40,000 urns distributed in the city in the next 10 days. To be precise, writes Radio Free Asia, 42 thousand. The calculation is this: from March 23 funeral homes began delivering the remains (a total of 3,500 urns per day) to end April 3, so as to allow the celebration of the day of the dead (Qingming) the following day. A procedure that repeated for 12 days gives the figure of 42 thousand urns delivered.

In light of the data, Time reporters tried to look for feedback by calling the funeral honors of the city, without getting an answer. In fact, they communicated that they either were not aware of the victims' data or were not authorized to disclose them.

Caixin also adds that the majority of people who died with coronavirus symptoms were not swabbed and thus excluded from counting the victims. And there have also been cases of patients who died of previous illnesses due to the lack of treatment as hospitals were overwhelmed by the emergency.

In the last 4 months of 2019, according to official data, there were 56,007 cremations in Wuhan, 1,583 more than in the same quarter of 2018 and 2,231 more than in the same period of 2017. According to Time writes, on Chinese social media various testimonials of people who had lost loved ones report that they were accompanied to collect the ballot box by neighborhood officials or that they were "reprimanded" for having expressed their pain via social media. Until April 30 funeral ceremonies are prohibited in Wuhan.

The uk health secretary Matt Hancock has also been tested positive from the virus

The uk health minister Nadine Dorries was also being infected.

Edit: England's Chief Medical Officer Chris Whitty has experience symptoms similar with the covid19

Update:

I am counting at least 4 people who might have been a lot in contact with him. Actually its hard to track to find out who was infected first from the covid19.

Speaking about hard to track: U.S. spies find coronavirus spread in China, North Korea, Russia hard to chart
https://www.reuters.com/article/us-heal ... SKBN21H3CW

"As U.S. spy agencies seek to assemble a precise picture of the world’s coronavirus outbreaks, they are finding serious gaps in their ability to assess the situation in China, Russia and North Korea...."

"North Korea claims to have not had a single case even though it borders China, but has asked international aid agencies for supplies like masks and testing kits...."

"China “seems to be the most successful country in terms of taking very large-scale growth and rapidly extinguishing it,” he said. “If their case numbers are real, it’s really important to understand their approach and adapt it.”

Well IF its real..but we know how different the truth can look. :eh:
