it would be great if possible to pimp up the attached ATR indi as shown in the screen.
As the ATR is one of the most important indis this coder work might give advantage
to many traders using it. Have a nice day.
Edit: I forgot that for drawing the lines correctly there has to be an input option if
trading long or short. And in addition the entry point in price ( In the screen I took
the actuell price of the chart as example, but pending orders need this option)
Hi, this posts should help you. ATR works with volatility and is one of my favorite indicators. By scolling back it's easier to find better indicator settings than from an indicator that only shows values of last bar. Also mrtools new indicator on my request works with ATR:

@friend4you: Thanks for your answer but your links don`t solve my problem as I don`t want to change or optimize this indi to generate signals but use it as calculation help to enter trades.....nothing else!
Have a nice day.

mrtools, I'm jut wondering whether it would be possible to call up the ATR Range from a Range calculator automatically so the period would not have to be adjusted manually. By following the Average Daily Range or 5, 10, 20 Days (as per choice), this channel gives actually a very good guide line.
