Hey all

I have an ex4 indicator and its not showing up in the navigator, I have restarted numerous times as well as refreshed the navigator. Still not there. Is it possible I have too many indicators or is their some other reason why its not showing up?

How many indicators you have in the indicators folder?
Metatrader has a "custom" of not showing some if the number of files in the folder is greater than 512

How many indis you have? I had once over 1600 files and nothing happened. 2 more possibilities are:

- Have you compiled it, then it is maybe in the Expert folder. That happens sometimes.
- Have you more MT4/5 terminals be sure it is in the indi folder with the MT4/5 you have open.

If there would be an error in the code, you see the ex4 and when you try to load it, your terminal will most likely freeze. Then you have to delete/rename this indi and restart the terminal.

1,144 ex4 files

Try copying your mt to other folder, clean up the indicators folder and copy just the ones that you use to that new instance

If this does not help, just reinstall your platform. Then make sure that you put the indicator into the correct folder. The correct destination is : File (located at the upper left corner of the terminal) > Open data folder > MQL4 > Indicators. Regards
