Once upon a time a technical indicator called the MCDx was released & claimed to display "Institutional/Banker" investor activity. A foxy marketing ploy at best, this commercially sold indicator was later on debunked by coders & proven to just be a cleverly-coded RSI. Despite it's questionable introduction in 2013, this RSI was still a marvel to use & was the very first RSI to utilize Volume as part of it's calculation. This weekend, Mrtools published the "Range-Weighted" RMA (Relative Moving Average) indicator for MT4. Analysts regard the RMA as the "slower" sibling of the EMA, yet the RMA makes up for it's lag by producing more accurate signals overall. So in order to combat this known lag, Mrtools's code adds Mladen's Range-Weighted formula to it which emphasizes on Candlesticks with higher volatility. The Synergy Pro TDI was the second official TDI indicator released by it's author, Dean Malone, & was published in 2012 as a re-designed version which took into account the aggressive change in the Foreign Exchange markets at the time.
