The Italian financial regulator CONSOB recently added five more domains to its blacklist of fraudulent companies. They companies being blacklisted are - Tryst Consulting LLC, High Rock Holdings LLC, Evolve Invest Limited, Miva Solutions LLC, WAM-Capital UK Ltd/WAM-Capital e Gabioni Ltd.
All five are fake service providers offering forex platforms without a license to local citizens. So far CONSOB has blacklisted 628 different domains – including the aforementioned five companies.
Previously the regulator had added seven more entities to its black list, for the same reasons. Those fake brokers and their domains are either closed now or are in the process being blocked.
What is more, CONSOB is one of the few regulators that actually have the authority to request the closing of fraudulent websites as part of the “Growth Decree” legislation, which has turned it into into a powerful enemy of various scammers and bucketshops.
They are turning out to be surprisingly proactive about their job, which is necessary in this industry, as plagued as it is with scam brokers.
