Scammers never seem to take a vacation, holidays or no holidays, so so the FCA issued a warning on the first work day of the year about a pair of brokers illegally working on UK territory. Those brokers are CFSum and ProCapitalMarkets. The former is allegedly registered in Estonia and the latter is, unsurprisingly, registered in the offshore zone of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. There have apparently been multiple complaints about them about running investment scams.
ProCapitalMarkets especially seems like a big cliché, between the name and the registration, sometimes I wonder why companies (if we can call them that) do not just call themselves “Scam Inc.” and call it a day.
