The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) considers banning binary options trading altogether announced CySEC Head, Demetra Kalogerou, who delivered a speech at the iFX Expo International 2017 this week.
The Cypriot financial watchdog is still conducting consultations on the matter, but highlighted the main problems with binary options: non-transparent pricing and conflict of interest. That is why the commission considers that probably “It will be more appropriate to suggest binary options only to professional traders,” as stated by Demetra Kalogerou.

3It´s just unbelievable that while CySec considers Binary Options to be a scam they keep creating some rules just to keep it going. In my opinion Binary Options should not be traded at all, otherwise you just risk donating your money to the scammers
