The short answer is that regulated brokers must adhere to govt directed regulations and if they don't the client can complain to the regulator to seek redress which, if upheld, would be enforced by the regulator. Without a regulator you would be forced to seek redress on your own through the law courts.

Why is it important for beginner traders to trade only with regulated brokers, and what are the advantages of using a regulated broker?

Why have you repeated the same question again without any reference to the answer given first time round (3 posts up)?

I'm a newbie in forex and looking for a good regulated broker to start trading with a real account and have come across several brokers like IG, Pepperstone, FP Markets, and a few others.

Any recommendation on which broker is suitable for brokers like me that have good trading conditions and proper regulation with a proper customer service team?

The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has updated its list of flagged website with 58 new entries. Out of these, there are 11 clone sites, and 1 fake regulator. The rest are the classic run-of-the-mill investment schemes. The regulator added these on its Public Alert: Unregistered Soliciting Entities (PAUSE) earlier this week.

Great. Could you elaborate on this a bit or are you just going to feed us tid bits every few weeks?

What's the reason for Pepperstone being on your "ban" list?
