I stop at H4 (but you could use it on D1, if you wanted)

6552Re VQ
I have now made it that the VQ shows Current + H1 (Gold dash line).
This way you can still trade the current VQ while keeping in mind the higher one hour TF.
Enjoy!

I think this is the best example of trading of the trend current and 1H TF
thank you so much boss.
One request can you strictly fallow this rule if you share any examples until May 18th. that will make a lot of new ppl here profitable.
if vq is above current and 1H only buy and if its below both current and 1H SELLS ONLY
Re: XARD - Simple Trend Following Trading System
6558The best way to use the latest VQ by XARD : Trade from 5m chart. Set the VQ to 15m by substituting price smoothing =36. You get to see both 15m and 1hr trend on 5m.

How does this work logically?
trading TF = M5
short term directional bias on M5 = EMA9
Directional bias on higher TF = M15 (5x3=15; i. e. (M)15 = 3x (M)5)
If I use 36 I don't get M15 but M20; mathematically correct would be M15 = (M)5x3, i. e. (EMA)9x3=27
Maybe I am wrong but the maths isn't.
And this doesn't even discuss the "problem" whether M15 is the best reference TF for M5 (which personally I doubt).
