Yes CCI is correct. I use XARD V8 and its the best if you trust me.

I never bothered to ask XARD whats the time period and other inputs.

Because i have done enough research to know which one is good.

I see lot of people waste time on different CCI indicators without understanding it.

As far as fractals are considered depending upon your patience level /risk reward you can use the following:

1) 15m time frame on 5m with 5 fractal break or 3 fractal break.

Do some research on what suits you and it also depends on where you live.

And don't thank me ...I am just a user. Thank XARD , FOURXXXX ,Indicator Auditor and the one who coded it.

Yes. Thanks to everyone who shared their experiences.

Let me ask you one more question.

1) What does CCI mean?. usually i know 0- : sell, 0+ : buy
But your settings have 0 ~ 200. 0 ~ -200
Is it simply that higher numbers are bullish and lower numbers are bearish?

2) What is the fractal setting in 5 minute TF?

3) "15m time frame on 5m with 5 fractal break or 3 fractal break."
I don't quite understand this part.(3 fractal?? 5 fractal??)

Let me put it this way...do some research on CCI.

Please don't expect everything on platter even though i want to help as much as i can.

I will give you a subtle hint on CCI 0-200 : Its like the gears of a car. It tells me on which gear the car is currently on.

Like most indicators it is lagging but its the lagging part of CCI that makes it good.

I use it to quantify my bias and momentum.

Guys, indicators and expert advisors that you download from MQL5 site will not work for anybody else when you share them, they are kind-of locked with the mt4 terminal that downloaded the indicator from mql5.com in the first place.

For those indicators and experts to work each of us has to make his own download through the mt4 application.

I do like the 5 fractal break just gives that extra bit of confluence than the 3 albeit can be a later entry. Thanks for the post btw :)
