For linux users wanting to create a bootable RamDive or just run a temporary RamDrive

Add a 4gb RamDrive to Boot up on your pc
You only need to do this once)

Open Terminal (ctrl+alt+t)
sudo nano /etc/fstab
(Scroll down 12 lines)

add entry
myramdrive /tmp/RamDrive tmpfs defaults,size=4G,x-gvfs-show 0 0
(You can replace the number 4 with amount of ram space that you want i.e. 1,2,3gb…)

Now save (ctrl+x)
Reboot your pc and you have a RamDrive (just copy MT4 folder over and run)

or

Create a temporary RamDrive
(You need to type this every time you boot up your pc)

Open Terminal (ctrl+alt+t)
sudo -s

sudo mkdir /tmp/RamDrive; chmod 777 /tmp/RamDisk

sudo mount -t tmpfs -o size=4G tmpfs /tmp/RamDisk
/

(replace the number 4 with amount of ram space that you want i.e. 1,2,3…)
exit Terminal
No need to Reboot as you now have a RamDrive (just copy MT4 folder over and run)

Enjoy

thanks for your shorts in US Stocks rplust
dear francisfinley stimpy,
could you please leave your private things out here and publish them in the right place. This is about the XARD system, not about long-term studies of the us markets and how they should be traded. Thank you!

I agree as it is becoming really frustrating! Create a thread on your opinions and see who follows / comments. We are here for Xard intraday trend AND THAT IS IT

Hi Xard. Finally got Linux Ubuntu Mint going with wine (Mouthful) and thanks to JustinForex who guided me. Please advise how to create 3/4 MT4 instances in system as the desktop icon appears only once. Many thanks Deane

Huh! As you still do not understand day trading, just don't try to talk about it or even worse, post your fantasies about what in your mind others are doing. Or to put it in a nutshell....You got no clue. The Dow is at an all time high....You figured that out all by yourself? ......Geez.

Let it go, man. He just wants to trigger people - either he's a troll or has serious emotional problems or both.
