I’ve encountered a problem and have no one else to turn to for advice but you. I came across an indicator that I think is quite good; unfortunately, I haven’t been able to find its MT5 version. I’m hoping to use the MT5 version of this indicator for futures trading.
The advantage of this indicator is that it seems to have a "handshake" pattern: two signals briefly overlap (cross each other), serving as an early reminder for the next trade. This gives people some mental preparation in advance. Currently, I only have it in the .ex4 format.
I’ve carefully read nearly 1,000 of your posts and noticed that you’ve shared similar indicators before. So, I’m wondering if you might be the core designer behind this indicator. I’d also like to ask: have you ever seen this indicator before, and do you know its real name?
You are wise and enthusiastic, Master. I would like to extend my most sincere respect to you.post1295473077.html?hilit=adxvma_channe ... 1295473077
Do you know it repaint or not?
If this indicator not repaint then it is too strong. :Fire:
BTW i will check it myself next week.

I know that. But when used in conjunction with other indicators, I think it still has significant reference value.

I don't think the source code for this indicator is published anywhere, but I think it's a cross between a centered TMA channel and an ADXVMA channel.
I've done something like this on MT4 before.
I don't know what the calculation is for the arrows..... but we can try something.
I should be able to create a version for MT5. But I'm still very busy. You'll have to wait a while, but I'll try...
That's exactly right. I've looked through numerous posts, but haven't found the source code anywhere. It's a great honor to have your approval, KVAK.
Actually, the arrows of this indicator aren't its most useful feature. What I find most valuable is this: when the market is about to reverse, it shows a "handshake" signal. Specifically, as an uptrend is coming to an end, the upper band of the channel starts to turn thick green, and both the upper band and the price move together for several candlesticks. Then, the thick green color on the lower band fades away, and this "handshake" transition is complete. This gives us plenty of time to think and wait for the right moment to open or close a position.
Unfortunately, the indicator does repaint. It would be amazing if it could be made non-repainting in the future. But even with the current repainting issue, it still holds significant reference value. When used in conjunction with other more stable indicators, this indicator truly helps provide an early warning—giving me time to alert myself and decide on opening or closing positions.
So, KVAK, when you said you could create a version for MT5 (MetaTrader 5, the upgraded version of MT4), it felt like a pleasant surprise out of the blue. That’s absolutely fantastic! I’ll be waiting patiently and looking forward to your good news.
With my best wishes and gratitude!

Hello, I am posted first test version here
It is very close to MT4 version, you may test it.
For repainting, if centered TMA will be replaced, it will be NRP, if you want I can replace it and make new indicator.

A nrp version would be great if it is not much problem...

Dear Kvak, this is such a wonderful surprise! A few days ago, you mentioned you’ve been busy with work lately and it might take some time, so I thought I’d probably have to wait for a month. Oh my goodness, your code-writing speed is incredibly fast!
First of all, I’d like to express my deep gratitude to you. I’ll start testing it right away. Thank you so much for your generosity and your amazing work!

Dear Kvak, I’ve done a preliminary test and identified two areas that may need further optimization, for your reference:
1.Between the red bold lines and green bold lines of the upper and lower borders, there is no "handshake" phenomenon (where the lines intersect). This still differs somewhat from the original MT4 version. This "handshake" is actually a crucial reference that helps in making decisions in advance.
2.Could we use thinner lines between the bold lines? Currently, the width of the gray lines is the same as that of the color-changing lines. Would it be possible to add a button to allow users to adjust this width themselves?
For now, these are my two suggestions. Overall, the indicator is already very good—these are just two immature suggestions, purely for your reference. Thank you!

The current "handshake" of the indicator feels more like a moving average (MA) – it gives a sense of hindsight (reacting to past price action). In contrast, the original MT4 version of the indicator offers more of a predictive quality: its "handshake" occurs in advance, creating a sense of foresight (anticipating potential price moves).
These are just my unpolished suggestions, so please feel free to consider them at your discretion.
