a) It would be a completely different indicator if it didn't repaint. So you have to make up your mind what you want.
(Repainting is not a fault or coding mistake that can be "fixed".)
b) If you only use it to signal bias, repainting shouldn't be much of an issue (as long as you wait for a clear reversal before going all in).

This Nadaraya-Watson sth looks similar to the Fourier transform.
Obviously it recalculates.
