it is NOT possible to predict the price in any way, or maybe with an edge so small that it won't be profitable

I think NN can be useful to decrypt hte behaviour of an asset, then trade based on that but i'm not sure.

I suggest you books from Ernest P Chan as he is using NN to trade, and profitably.
