Why don't you use such an indicator for trend lines? It shows very precise breakdown locations

I do have a tool which plots trendlines and sd zones (and more if I want) + alerts for me. Handy to alert me for a possible setup but most of the time I 'see' the moves without using this tool. This indi is commercial/paid so I can not share it here. This is what I see at first sight on your EU chart.

In theory the second TL (your dotted tl) is 'best' because of the 123 retrace. Impulse down (strong move in short time, retrace often abc, takes more time and less pips)
