Regarding Markets.com, I've never heard of them. Do they have any kind of regulation or are they "registered" on a Pacific island somewhere?

As for the list getting bigger, I am not surprised. Bucketshops are absolutely prevalent in this industry, unfortunately. One should always be very careful who they trust with their money.

Another warning from the FCA about SafeMarkets - they are operating in the UK without a license.
Also, apparently, according to the broker’s own terms and conditions, clients can only withdraw funds after reaching a certain, quite high, trading volume. Talk about bucketshops.

I can't believe how brazen they are, blatantly stating their scammy ways. Do people actually sign up with "brokers" like that? I mean, I was pretty naive as a newbie and as a result I got scammed too, but even I wouldn't have signed up with a company like that.

The German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (Bundesanstalt für Finanzdienstleistungsaufsicht – BaFin) has ordered Euro Wealth OÜ, operating Prestige Financial Markets brokerage brand to cease offering illegal cross-border trading services to German investors.

BaFin said that the above-mentioned company offers German clients CFDs on currencies, equities, commodities, indicia and cryptocurrencies and it is not authorized to do so. The regulator also noted that Euro Wealth OÜ was formerly known as Allpro Tech OÜ, and Nostro Technology OÜ.

Euro Wealth OÜ is a company registered in Estonia, but the local Finantsinspektsioon itself warned investors that the entity is not authorized to provide investment services in the country. Furthermore, UK’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has added Prestige Financial Markets owned by AllProTech OÜ to its warning list in August 2018. Besides, both Italy’s CONSOB and NZ’s FMA have issued warnings against GlobalFXm – a brokerage brand operated by Nostro Technology OU.

The Spanish regulator Comision Nacional del Mercado de Valores (CNMV) has updated its warning list with a whole bunch of shady brokers - BrokerYard, Capital245, CryptoEU, Pepperdyne, and UproFX, among others, earlier this week.
As you can imagine, they either have no regulation or are registered in some offshore zone. Most of them have already been blacklisted by other regulators too.
