PS: many of the performance issues present on low end PCs with older versions have been solved by C++ integration.

Hi friends,
I've been noticing the following happening to me, and I don't know if it's normal Oracle behavior.
In the first image, an aligned sell alert popped up. I entered sell and left the MetaTrader screen untouched. The sells continued, but Oracle was showing bullish colors.

A few minutes later, I changed the frequency to a higher timeframe and returned to the original, and everything was now in red.
Is this normal or is there something interfering?
thanks a lot

Hello, yes—this happens all the time. I’ve tried multiple brokers to be sure, but the conclusion remains the same: yes, Oracle repaints. There, I said it.

Hi there - the issue is clearly that the first image has data that are not updated!!! It's clear it cannot be a bullish trend, issue can be related to broker data or if you are using old oracle version. Ensure you use 3.6.

And no Oracle does not repaint, only when in MTF mode it behaves as a normal MTF indicator does, recalculating old bars when the higher TF bars closes.

Hi, maybe I should have refined my question a bit more. I haven't mentioned repainting at any point. I wanted to know if I refreshed those candles as I went along, would they look red? Could the closing of the upper candles not being visible on the M3 and M15 have something to do with it? Could these be errors in the broker's price delivery?

Sorry, I was writing and didn't read your reply. That's all I wanted to know. Thanks so much :)

Yes, it does repaint—even on the current timeframe. For example, you might see a bullish signal, but after two or three bars, if price moves the opposite direction, Oracle will change that previous bullish signal to bearish. I’ve seen it happen myself, and I’m just being honest with you.

The issue isn’t on your end.

the oracle does not repaint, none of the algo inside are repainting. The issue that can still rarely be faced with low quality brokers or slow pcs is related to plotting stucked, not related to calculations.

Ok, I want you to be right because is a great work, nevertheless I'm using the same brokers as you are.

I have 3 EAs working with oracle on ICMarkets, Pepperstone and DarwinZero, since last november. Never faced a wrong trade due to repaint.
And mathematically there is no algo inside that repaints, it means that any issue is related to "visual' stucked histograms, buffers are never wrong.

PS: in any case if 3.6 still stucks with the colors, I will take a look at it, as for manual trading it can be annoying for sure.
