I'm sorry if this is off topic but we should just turn this into a discussion about what has happened in Afghanistan, what that means to China, how the USA will react etc. I think this might be interesting.

This might be a surprise but the Taliban aren't bad people. They have a certain set of values but generally they are decent human beings. That may seem strange. How could "terrorists" be completely normal? Well, terrorism is a relative term depending on where you stand on an issue. It is not the same as a shooter in a movie theatre.
How did we arrive at this point? America made no real investment in Afghanistan. If they were serious about helping the people there it would have been about infrastructure. It was not. There was no real commitment. So cynically you could say it was bullet sales.

I watch CNBC and I think there is a general racist undertone towards the Chinese. This communist narrative. Oh, we hate communism. No reference to Vietnam where the mighty were defeated by communism. Why is there no reference to history? Look at what happened. Learn some lessons. It isn't about buzz words. Reality of loss. Reality of slavery. Reality of colonialism. Lots of realities...

Are there lessons from the Chinese stance on Bitcoin?
Let me just say Bitcoin is a ponzi scam. My opinion is this is a valueless bubble. Let's continue.
China recognises the threat bitcoin and all the other coins pose to a centralised government.
My personal opinion is there is no way crypto survives without some kind of islands adopting. Existing governments are going to squash you. That is all.

Shouldnt get into this
My lawyer in Phuket was found dead because he tried to get into his glass door.
Not true. He was killed...
Worse his name is Allan and his wife had google scrub all evidence. Her second husband. First one hung himself. I have the video of that but it has also now been scrubbed.

What the Fed doesn't seem to realize is the inflation numbers aren't correct. We are witnessing a real-time realization that the measures aren't working and haven't worked for a number of years.
Running on sugar. How is this not socialist? This isn't a capitalist society if you socialise the loses and privatise the gains. Arguably America is no longer a democracy. Look at gerrymandering. How is that not shut down?

Let's not forget. The American civil war was fought about slavery. There is no argument about this now. Settled science. The confederate flag is one of the most offensive emblems you could hope to fly.
