Why did Trump make a deal with terrorists and let them all out of prison? He literally let the leader of the Taliban out of prison. Set a date to be out by then left it to Biden. Biden can't find a teleprompter or half his big boy words but he wasn't responsible for this disaster. As much of a disaster as he is.

In August 2021, Taliban militants killed an Afghan woman in Balkh Province for wearing tight clothing and not being accompanied by a male relative.

2021 is not different from 1990 for Afghani women.

You can't help a people who don't want help. Time and time again America makes the decision to impose its values on people who may not agree with those values. Over a longer timeframe a pattern emerges that the intervention isn't really about improving life for the people in those countries (although that might be a welcome side effect), the intervention is designed to further USA interests whether it be security, corporate or geopolitical. This isn't done from some kind of altruism. There are real, cold hard cash reasons or cold hard revenge reasons for these undertakings. Pretty obvious I guess.

Just as an aside, you would not believe how much money is in maintenance contracts for the simplest of machinery in these "war zones". There are literally fields full of different civilian and military vehicles that have not been operated in years that are still being maintained to a high standard before they are scrapped.
