The list is long. Here we have the Half Trend indicator, renamed by Karl Dittmann to BuySell Arrow Scalper and sold for 250$ or something like that. Yes, it's the repainting version, but typical for the old Karl. The new Karl steals nrp-indis.
The best way to make an indicator unrecognizable is to use arrows or colored bars in the subwindow like the Nihilist BS on Forex Factory. I remember a two colored bars indi mladen and another member discussed on TSD what it could be. It was sold for 2,500 or 3,000$. I don't find it anymore. It was a simple EMA50 slope indicator with binary colored bars.
Hands off indis with strange or promising names or else you face reality like this guy on FF in thread of a renamed repainter (I guess everyone of us knows such situations

As a rule of thumb if an indicator looks fantastic and finds all the winning trades you can bet that it re paints.
I like many others have spent the weekend in the BMW showroom only to be disappointed on Monday morning.
