DOW at the close - really happy this system works superbly well after calling it a no trade day in previous post.
The screen grab below shows the close at 42571.85 and the price this morning in the previous screen grab was 42594.34.
I believe it is as important to know when to trade the trend as well as when not to trade.

Friday - last day for trading.
The stochastics has broken through the trapline on the 4hr chart and the 30m chart has just turned 'up' so checks made on the 5m chart with traps on stochs to confirm direction to trade safely again. The wait for a profit.

The open - and truthfully I am LOVING the fact that the stochs original traps (see previous post of 30m chart) prepared me for a no trade as the support and resistance traps are still intact.
Back down to the 5m chart and was happy to see that the 5m support trap had held.
This is fast becoming the safest trading method I have ever used!

PS
Continuing the watching and a close up of the 5m chart - the manually drawn traps are particularly difficult as the statistics show on hovering the cursor are so close together.
I see there is an indicator called trendline alert and have seen an auto trendline indicator both for on-chart trading. Could that indicator be adapted so it would work on stochastics?

The stochs setting is 21-4-4,
The arrows on the chart are from the stochs indi in post 4 with the stochs standalone posted in post 8.
The thickness of the arrows I have changed for the upper time frame plus 1 whilst the thinner arrows are from the upper timeframe.

Could this be the top of the current move up?
Has a good chance.
See how I have used the 'values' of the stochastic indicator - all this is done manually and I am sure some clever guy can automate it....

This is an interesting situation.
Ist illustration is the monitoring and entry - the trap on the lower stochs was already drawn before it bottomed out so I was waiting for it to be crossed knowing that the upper stochs was heading upwards. There was the safety of both support traps on both stochs so it gave condifence to the direction.
2nd illustration was just after my exit but the interesting aspect here was the manually drawn trap on the fast lower stochs - the EXTENDED trendline was something taught to me in the 90's by a trader in Australia. The 'power' of extended trendlines is something I know about technically but only seen it on charts. That alone kept me in the trade.
So another safe trade with this system, only 23 pts but a plus is a plus.
I will post the 3 stocks charts later this evening when the week trial is over.

End of first weekly test on stocks.
1. Amazon = profit £11,82
2. GlaxoSmithK = profit £32.10
3. Johnson&Johnson = loss £0.21
Not the 100% I was looking for but as a weekly total I'll take it.
