I just hate it when I miss a trade that I had set up for - the exit is now - the red dot (Hi-Lo Overlay setting 13).
The 4hr chart had a similare set up and the trap line on stochs was broken on that timeframe too.

PREPARATION - the weekend is the time for the following weeks trades.
I have shown the way that the STOCHASTIC indicator is used for this weeks trading of the DOW.
Antone trading different indices or FX charts can use this very safe system of determining how the chart will move in the coming week.
All the traps are hand drawn and use the FAST number on the stochs indi from where they are in the very o/b or o/s areas.
My observation is that the 1hr chart is in hidden sell divergence but the 4hr chart shows the current bottom may have been reached - so a watch and wait until one of them is proven correct.
My post is to encourage preparation and this is my way of preparing.

The Asian open and now the European open seem to confirm that the low of 42057 is the current bottom of the DOW and hopefully will be confirmed only when the US opens.
UPDATED preparation charts below to show the continuous process until a safe entry is achieved.

PS
I've added below the 1m chart which was just after my exit plus 112 pts.
Mr Tools - I've removed the lines from the screengrab as it is easier to see - but in the live trading I use them - many thanks once again.

Continuing the uptrend signals from the higher timeframes the first illustration below show the exit on my first trade - out of US hours so the spread is bigger - only 18 pts but nevertheless a profit.
The second illustration show my next entry.
The third illustration shows my hopeful monitoring trap on stochs although the lower trap is the key. The price dipped below the BB but returned immediately so this was key in my decision to remain in the trade.
The fourth illustraion shows my exit at +33pts.
The traps I draw use the exact numerical data as is on the stochs (by placing the cursor over the stochs it gives this information. Very easy to do on the upper times frames but the 1m timeframe is a very much more urgent.
Once again it is in the preparation - someone should open another thread for other traders preparation for trades? OR others could use this thread to show their preparation methods.

No trading today as charts trapline are too far apart on the 15m and 30 charts - only good for scalping down at the moment and haven't the time.

ps
Forgot to wish all on the forum a very happy and prosperous new year but most importantly a healthy new year.

Update on the 15m chart on this Stochs based template and the support has held on the stochs - the price has just bounced off it.
I've checked it against my current and my old trading templates and they agree - it looks a good turning point to the upside.
Still not trading it today but it is good to see that it works.

Still searching for tomorrow's trade and the bottom of the chart - or a continuation.
The 30m chart shows it was wise not to to trend trade.
Hope this can be automated but even if it can't manually drawing traps on stochs is a good practise.
