I observed that Semafor has Blue and White circles now. What is the difference? Can you please share the detail on this?

Earlier there were only white circles, now I see some are white and some have blue, so just want to understand the difference between them.

So in this case the candle color for the signal candle is prone to change its color depending on how the current candle closes. So how to trade such?

Question for XARD:

I see the shift is -1, would this not make the last candle repaint as the color would be dependent on the current candle close?
