What does the purple background color mean on the chart or is this an error in the system?

I assumed that it shows you where the system has repainted (as it did repaint) but I am not 100% sure.

Ya you wouldn't normally enter after a yellow square because it hasn't yet been confirmed by a second dot.

The red triangle basically connects the dots and then you should enter at the cross of the MA lines.

Two tips from my experience. Pretty well known but will still mention : 1) Don't trade an hour before London open and US open.
