Yes, if you not use cross of outer levels, you change logic, there is not exit, break or break/entry are same....like arrows on your picture.
This is not bug, but how it is coded, I didn't think anyone would use it like that. It doesn't make sense to me, but it's no problem to recode it....
How would you use it?

That when the default settings are changed, both the cross arrow and level exit arrow will follow the logic of intended picked parameters.

Rsi filter but with synthetic rsi.
