I've also been looking for a symbol changer. I've used all of the ones in this thread but they all lack a hotkey symbol switching feature.
The rationale for this feature is that you don't have to load many chart windows in your terminal which could use extra memory.

Just load 1 chart window, save a profile named "default.tpl", then switch between all the symbols with a hotkey. In my opinion it's much easier and reduces clutter/memory usage.
