• Recommend me indicator to identify the current trend?

Hi Moderators and fellow forum members,

I've been trading about 10 months now and only since using the awesome indicators found on this website have I realized that there is SO much I do not know!

If anyone can direct me to where I can learn about the following and how the various options affects the data presented by the indicator used

and how best to use the multitude of options.

Moving Average options

P.S. I've always ONLY used the default options within each indicator

This is what I use, Mr Tools made it to interpolate, so it is accurate enough when you get settings right.

What are the All Averages options?

I would of thought the 200MA would of been the one to give the overall trend as it gives the movement for the last 200 candles and on a HTF that should show the movement

I've seen people use multiple EMA's to confirm when trend changes on EMA cross.
