It's a good way to capitalize.
Restrictive rules make profit making more difficult, and risk management is essential when using this type of company.
Always use companies with good feedback, such as FTMO. Others with a dubious reputation can get you into trouble when requesting payments.

Glad I found this thread! Since there are so many people here, I wanted to ask: do you guys trade with your own capital or do you use prop firms? Personally I've been using prop firms for a while now.

Here's a little review on the ones I've tried over the past two years (just my personal experience pls share yours if it's different!):

Started with Funding Pips (25k): Honestly, no major issues at first. Payout was super quick… but this was like two years ago. Over time though, I started having problems with weird spreads and Tradelocker disconnecting 😤
RebelsFunding: Actually pretty solid! They’re cheap and always running promos. Support is nice, no issues with payouts or shady rules (so far lol).
Quant Tekel: 😬 Yikes. Rough experience. So many hidden rules – do not recommend.
Goat Funded Trader: Trading itself was okay, but OMG the waiting. Took forever to get my funded account, and I literally had to beg for my payout. Not cute.

Edit 2.9.2025:
Ugh right, I totally forgot to add with GOAT, for your first two payouts, you can only withdraw up to like 6% max of your account size. 😒 And they only do payments every 30 days, which feels like forever tbh.
So yeah, just a heads up for anyone thinking about going with them! Not the most flexible setup out there.

K that's my two pips! Curious what you all think

Funding Pips pays without problems if you follow the rules. The problem I've had repeatedly with them is the stop loss. On real charts, it never hits, but on theirs, there are always strands of money trying to get you out...very suspicious.

So you had pretty much the same experience with Funding Pips too.
I'm with RebelsFunding now and honestly no complaints so far! 🙌 Currently trying to pass a challenge with Fortraders it's going okay, we'll see how it goes I guess.
Which company are you funded with right now?

I have never heard of them before, but they do have positive reviews online. Have you reached a payout with them yet?
