And it wouldn’t be bad if the parabolic was recalculated using the Rate of Change (RoC)

Histogram or line doesn't matter. Divergences will be inside the channel and can be regarded as signals

Perhaps a simple signal moving average will be sufficient for such purposes. I don't know it now
