Hey Cladi thanks for the post and picture. For the past 3 weeks we've been fixing up the old threads that got migrated back in 2017 which are not displaying properly and some of the posts that are being fixed have quotes in them, so when those posts are fixed they will alert those people that were quoted in the old posts (hope that makes sense).

Sorry for those notifications.

It's part of a big fix up for our forum just to make it more user friendly as older posts were scrambled and broken due to a shit developer that we hired to migrate the forum back in 2017.

A changelog regarding the fixes is being updated each fortnight here: Forum Changelog: Fixes & Work In Progress.

We are currently "resynching" our forums and sorting out an error on our older topics that were started in 2017 (newer topics aren't affected), you may be alerted of members quoting your posts from the past. If you do get these notifications, please accept our apologies as we they will happen when certain posts are fixed.

If you do notice any threads with the following error message at the top, please let us know in this topic! It would be a great help.

Update, this issue has now been fixed!

I'll be doing some work fixing up/updating the Attachments Files Center right now so you may see some older notifications for "Quoted" replies show up within the next 24 hours.

This will not affect the site in any way besides the unwanted notifications up the top.

Good afternoon family,

Today you will most likely see older notifications for "Quoted" replies as we are doing a resync of two threads in the MetaTrader section (which fixes broken quote links that still exist from a few years ago, after our very first site migration).

This was picked up in a recent audit of our pages.

If you happen to notice any alerts from old posts please ignore them. This forum resync should be finished within 72 hours and no data will be affected.

PS: If anyone comes across any broken links in future, please report them to us so we can fix them immediately.

Thank you for your patience this week. I've almost finished updating the broken quote box arrow links.

I just have to go through the Something Interesting for Metatrader thread's posts today and we're done
