They got into an argument, and Bessant called Musk a fraud. Elon tried to respond with physical violence.

Vaccines must prove to be effective before being released. There's a reason no vaccine is required to go through randomised control studies.

A lot of people still don't get Trump or how he works.
So he looks at the deal with a particular country, sees their currency manipulation or embargo's or tariffs or subsidies or whatever.
And he says come to the table, if they refuse he threatens to slap on an outrageous tariff like 500% to get them to move. Usually they move.
But if they don't then he just slaps on a harsh but workable tariff (20 – 50%) to even things up and then moves on to other things.
