yes, I posted a good article a while back outlining that Russia knew exactly what to expect and had many months to prepared for it. As a result of sanctions energy profits and the Rouble actually went up not down. The EU and the UK paid dearly.

Meanwhile Gazprom say the may get Nordstream partially working quite soon.

Thousands of new tanks, military vehicles moving towards Kherson Mykolaiv.

Poor Zelensky thought that he can fast-track to join the NATO club just like that, which would force the US to commit boots on the ground and fight its own war against Russia. Doesn't he see by now that the US only wants Ukraine as a proxy, nothing more?


Correct, still not a whisper out of NATO, the EU or the US as to how they will respond to Russia's escalation other than more useless sanctions. The only material thing they're not already supplying Ukraine with are troops and no hint that is going to change any time soon.

If that's the case then this war may already be over with Russia just left to fortify the borders around it's new territories.
