try to watch graphs from 30mn downto 1mn (ex. 30/15/5/2 or any) identifying dots eachtime and considering that 30mn dot has the stronger influence, and 1mn the lower influence.
For instance, you see Down Arrow, and 1st green small dot, it means the price would probably going up to orange small dot (or higher than Arrow), so you consider Buying as priority. then in 15mn you have an orange small dot, meaning price would probably going down. without going any further, as 30mn influence is stronger, you know the price should go up in 15mn also to get synchronized with 30mn, so you probably have to wait for 15mn green mini dot. And so on for each TF you have selected (3 TF are sufficent most of the time). This allow to identify probable price direction, then you can apply second dot rule (small or big - your choice) and ema crossing signals.
The same way, big dots have more influence than small dots. they also appear less often in small TF (usually more small dots in 1mn).
Keep in mind that Square/Arrow alone can't determine price direction (for instance, gold kept down arrow for months in 30mn).
Use EMA to help you identify trends and sub trends (i have added a 50 smoothed MA to my setup for even more help and i also have a look at xu_tdi on each TF, looking for direction synchronisation also through TF).
dots synchronisation through TF are the key to identify probable direction. that's my understanding of XARD system (i trade using 15-5-1 most of the time).
remember also that price movments usually are longer in the main trend direction and shorter otherwise.
Hmm, im not 100% sure, but I think this is exactly what Lenovo was talking about. She is literally staring at 4 different screns, waiting for something that might never even happen... mostly because it repaints.
I mean, you have said it yourself multiple times with "probably should" and "probably will" comments. The only part that actually seems like a solid setup is using the EMA and TDI together. No hate, but honestly? The rest just feels like unnecessary noise.
Just keeping it real!

It's beacuse Xard trade continuation from small or big dots following trend. And most people wait for second dot (small or big) for a reversal trade. I wrote it before it's misleading because you're pushing arrow until it stops.

Has anyone ever rigourously forward tested flipping a coin for bias and letting RR do the heavy lifting?

Got to agree. Many tie themselves in knots trying to integrate different timeframes while the hours fly by. Good setups are possible on one timeframe just with the tiny dots, ema's and a modest RR.

I know it's in hindsight now. But this is how trend following should look like.

If we don't make higher high on 30 min i would sell when candle cross ema. On 6 min second mini dot and ema cross

@BeatlemaniaSA created new thread today i looks very nice. Definitely easier to follow trend than with Xard system. Higher timeframes your finger it's not so itchy to pull a trigger like it is on 6 min no arrows in opposite direction.
With current rules in Xard system Arrow + second dot it's more of a mean reversion system for me.

I can’t believe my eyes! People are finally admitting this system doesn’t work on its own — and even when it does, you need at least four screens and 24/7 attention. So everyone ends up tweaking it with their own knowledge and preferences (thanks god). Doesn’t that mean it’s no longer the same system?
And now there’s a new rule:
Price breaks above the EMA = Buy
Price breaks below the EMA = Sell
If that’s all it takes (which it does) why bother staring at repainting semaphores with fancy names? Seems like the EMA is doing all the heavy lifting.
Go ahead, ban me again — I’ve seen everything I needed to see.

That at this point people still doubt this system seems very sad to me. For me, it’s one of the best systems that exist, not to mention the years of hard work behind it. Many people don’t know how to use it and get frustrated, but it’s simpler than it looks. You just need to have a clear understanding of the trend and market structure and follow the signals. People want a system that simply tells them “buy” or “sell” and that’s it.
I’ll always be grateful to Xard.
