Hi All,

My MetaTrader 4 just updated to 4.00 build 1403 17 Jan 2024. However, there is no information from MetaQuotes on what they updated. If anyone knows what changed then please enlighten us. Thanks.

I haven't received this update it's so new that even Metaquotes haven't published any release notes on it yet

Afterprime Ltd. I thought that all brokers would get any new updates at the same time but maybe that's not the case.

No update for me yet I'm using Pepperstone and FBS both still on build 1400.

IC Markets just updated it for me.

Does MT4 have an automatic update function?

I had the version 1402 from December and when I opened my terminal today it showed 1043 from January 17.

Never had that and always manually updated.

Mine auto updated this morning (build 1403) On opening mt4 got a pop up instead for admin permission as metaquotes wanted to make some changes.
So yes the updates are automatic so long as you give permission.

(ps I should add I always connect to internet as standard user not admin)
