Yes, I agree with you. Like I said, it's a work in progress, but since it was working fine I left it for now. Will try to streamline it though. Thanks for your opinion. If you find a leaner version, please share

You need to create "! Template Indis" (without quote) in your "MQL4\Indicators" directory and put all indicator in this new directory...

PIPin Tom wrote: Sat Nov 15, 2025 7:49 am Good day/night to all the Forex Station contributors and participants,
I have been following this site since its inception and given up on any other forum. This is where you find the most valuable assets to face the market and its negative odds of beating it. If you are a newbie and are reading this, consider yourself in luck that you have the main source of tools right here on this site!
What I am proposing is a system of my own (even though I recognize that a lot of others here are real gems!), all based on indicators that are available to all… right here. Thanks to the altruistic contribution of too many people to mention, but mainly the coders and moderators.
My system is already on its 4th generation and version 9. Just too many goodies coming out regularly that force me (fortunately) to change often. Basic Darwinian logic. But I felt I needed to share at some point. Last year I did, around October, but have found a sounder strategy.
My proposal is that, if you find any worth in it, please contribute for its improvement. In no way do I believe it’s the Holy Grail, but… so far, it’s the best I could come up with, after testing hundreds of promising indicators and pounding its settings in logical, and even illogical ways.
What I have is a lot of indicators on a template that looks and feels overcrowded but seems to work with the rules I set. The hard part was to find the simplest rules that worked. I think I found them but you are free to suggest any alterations.
This is a work in progress! Please regard it as such!
I am no coder… at all, and I will post:
- The template;
- The indicator list, and a Zip folder with all of them, even though they are all on this site;
- The rules, only for clear Entry and Exit;
- The charts, with some comments, of a few pairs, on mainly 15m charts. Add also 1H charts, because it seems to work on various time frames.
- The statements for a demo account over the last 6 weeks roughly, in which it shows stellar performance, but with a lot of flaws.
Please be patient. I will share whatever I have and can, as long as anybody shows any interest, but above all I would like this to be a collegial project in which all valuable contributions can improve the overall outcome.
All the best to everybody!
Thanks for sharing your way of trading, please can you clarify on the what you look at in determining a no entry zone and also your exit. Thanks

Hello Topguy7

I am re-posting the chart in which I explained my rules
If you look at the No-entry/trade zones they just follow the exit of a previous trade. In those zones, the 4 entry rules I mention do not apply. Either one, or more than one, are out of sync with the others.
So, for ENTRY you need them to be ALL in sync.
For EXIT you need 2 red symbols. You close at the appearance of the second one.
Try it out on several pairs and TF. For me it works out fine
Give it a go and at least have fun with it

Following the obvious need to downsize I already eliminated Step NEMA and Waddah Attar and the results seem to be unaffected.
Will keep on streamlining it and post anything that seems worth mentioning

Here's the leaner version and some more comments on entry and exit.
There is no universal truth or Holy Grail and we should be humble enough to accept what others have to offer.
In that sense, feel free to comment, change or suggest. We are all here to learn and pick what is best for each individual style of trading.
May you all succeed!!!
