Maybe one thing will help is either eliminate the ma 1 through ma 12 shift and just have 1 shift for the whole thing or just eliminate the Ma shift completely.

Personnely I would opt for the option which gives the FULL range of alerts and some of the shift options (can't stare at the screen all day!).
But, ultimately your the boss.
