I'm looking for help with a mt 4 alert indicator when price touches / crosses a moving average similar to how you would set an alert on trading view.

Tradingview alerts will alert you once price touches the Moving Average and we call this "Alert on Current Candle". You may see this option which is available on many of Mrtools and Mladen's codes. Set this option to "True".

The most complete Moving Averages indicator we have is the "Averages" by Mladen & Mrtools. Try this non-repainting indicator and let us know how you go with it: Non-repainting Moving Average for MT4.
