A lot of funny posts in this thread. Quite valid points you all make, too.
Don't forget, in Summer it's one of the hottest places on Earth. Every Spring and Summer we have a lot of 40 degree (104f) days and more, back to back.
I always say, the healthcare here is the best in the world, but then again as a bare minimum, you've got to be in the lower middle class to survive here. So there's pluses and minuses.
For me, I miss how it was back in the 1980's. Carefree, everyone got along (mostly) and life was chilled. Houses were within reach for every family and you could make a deal with a handshake.
Since then, things have changed drastically and there's just way too many rules now especially in Sydney.
Apart from the crazy insects and somewhat strict governing, if it wasn't for Australia there would be no Forex Station
This is how our harbour looks like every afternoon and my house is somewhere far over towards the right, top-center side of the photo. Nah, maybe a bit further actually
