How many microlots can I theoretically open with a USD $100 account?

I'm testing a stacking idea and wondering what's possible.

1,000 units = 0.01 lots = micro = 10c/pt.

Margin requirement is 1%.

Required margin for one micro in EUR 11.21.

Required margin for one micro in USD 12.56.

So with that info, how can calc how lots I can open separately at the same time?

USD$100 / required margin?

I suck at maths

If you know the margin requirement and know your available margin then divide margin by requirement for number of positions.

1:100.

So is it like this for 1:100 leverage:

Required margin for one micro in USD 12.56. USD$100.

100/12.56 = about 8 microlots?

Divide your margin requirements by the number of positions you wish to open 👍

Would also depend on the chosen pairs you wish to trade. They all have different pip values.

download this excel sheet and look at the Margin Requirements tab or use the Pip Calculator tab; (need to enable DDE server for live data)
viewtopic.php?p=1295411665#p1295411665

with that info, your balance divided by margin requirements gives you the number of positions (based on your selected lot size).

this is just a simple way to understand but you need to have good knowledge as you go by to make proper judgement
