I was thinking about a better formula for HA. Would it be possible to weight the current candles inputs? I am looking for a faster input to alert a color change based on the ATR of the current Candle. That is, If current candle moves against the trend ,say, >1 ATR it would begin to change faster than <1 ATR. That is weighting the current candle. I have an OHLC_HA that I like a lot. Unfortunately I only have the ex4 version and have never found the mql4 version. I would like that option as well so I can see the true candle shapes with the HA colors. I currently use My #OHLC_HA as an exit indicator. I wait for either two small close or one large candle (>1 ATR). Don't know if that is possible. In the meantime I will look at Synergy bars as they are along the lines of this concept.

edit: Yup. Synergy Pro APB is what I was looking for except I would like the bars to be regular candle sticks. Don't know if that could be done.

Would it be possible to color regular Japanese Candlesticks with the color options of the APB bars? Maybe, In the drop menu where you input HA, Japanese CandleSticks, etc...? Also, I think the TF changer and the Symbol changer can be eliminated. Every time I try these types of indicators they put a drain on the CPU. I'm using a desktop with Gaming software and can run x plane on it. Ive just never had any luck with those things. I prefer the hotkeys.

I was looking for this type of HA but with the APB bars. sorry, I only have the ex4. Never found the mql4. It paints HA colors but keeps the regular candlesticks. I found it very useful but if APB bars were added it would be much better.

I found this in mql 4. Still no luck with APB colored OHLC candles. The search continues I guess.

Thanks to all who responded. After some searching mt4 market place I found Magic Candles FREE is suitable for what I was looking for. Thank you for your time. Since it is part of the mt4 marketplace I did not think it would be ok to post the indicator or the link here. It is a free indicator and does exactly what I want it to do.
