So does anyone know if MetaTrader is planning to increase the security of their encryption of MT4 code?
Doubt it but honestly why worry? Unless you've created some super sophisticated lucrative EA/indicator and plan on sharing it in EX4 format or selling it....

we have to wonder if Metaquotes lowered the bits of the MT4 encryption algorithm just enough so they knew it would get cracked just to push the new MT5 version ?

No it's been happening for more than 5 years and from all over the place. Obviously, not just from Japan.

Yes, and again been happening for years. For example they'll decompile EX5 files by analyzing metaeditor.exe making a memory dump of the process with Scylla then analyzing it using a custom Ghidra Loader that accepts EX5 format (or a different decompiler).
No easy feat and it's not as common but it is done.
Obviously I'm not condoning this and I'm against decompiling in a huge way but if you really need to know, for knowledge sakes.
There's scummy services all over the Fiver website who claim to do it their own way too.

Hey Japanese are the best at what they do. From creating Walkmans and saving Porsche from bankruptcy in the 90's to now (sadly) playing around with EX4's.
Moreover, Japanese scientists have developed a medicine
that causes teeth to grow back. Tests from September!
