CySEC have largely been trying to clean up their act in the past few years , but let's not forget that they were the ones largely responsible behind the fiasco with IronFX.

CySEC ruling changed a lot in the past 4-5 years and I think that it is slowly becoming one of the most reputable regulators within EU.

Indeed. They started to become most reputable regulator within EU. I keep viewing good comments from them in the forums as well.

I think they realized the seriousness of things and started to be more consistent and serious in this relation. Many people have trusted them and started trading in brokers that are regulated by them.

I agree. And/or ESMA had them shape up.

Indeed, this was the case few years back. It is amazing how things changed. Personally, I am very impressed.

In my view, after the Brexit Cyprus might become the biggest financial hub in EU. So, they definitely will need strong and stable regulator.

Time will tell, but that is very likely to happen.
