you discuss whether it makes sense or is comfortable to publish ex4 or mq4. But that's not the point here.
due to an error in the firefox some downloads are incorrect. spaces are shortened for example.

I think to avoid this error a programmer can simply assign file names without spaces but that is the decision of the creator.

I am not a programmer, but I know that rename protection is also possible without additional spaces in the file name.
this would work around the download problem.

But as I said before, this is always a decision of the programmer
Why would a name like "vhfAdaptiveSuperSmoothedAverage" be more logical than "VHF adaptive super smoothed average"?
Why should coders do as some browser "dictates" (or as some forum "dictates" - just see what happens to attachments at MQL forum)?

Sorry, your argument does not make sense.
We should not change ourselves to the weakest points (if that was the case, then we should still be doing stuff as if we are all using IE 3.0) or to adjust ourselves to some bugs but we should try to be as "human friendly" as possible

It's all fairly straightforward and simple:
a) the author has the absolute right over her/his product
b) altruism stops when exploitation and fraud takes hold

P.S.:
Why should anyone care what Mladen looks like? (see different thread)
Why should he share his mq4-files if he knows that a small percentage of people are thieves and trick other people into buying his products from them?
Why don't all the people who want him to share his mq4-files code indies themselves and share those indies and their code? (some of those same people don't even "share" their individual "setups").

Mladen and others offered us gifts without asking anything for it -
on what logical or ethical grounds do some people ask for more?

absolutely correct.
be grateful for the given.

constructive criticism is always welcome and broadens the programmer's horizons.
that's how i got to know the professional programmers here.
thank you all for your tireless efforts.

I have the assumption that the error no longer occurs in Firefox version 91.0.2 / 64BIT or higher.
Can anybody confirm this? All taken downloads are ok so far.

I recently downloaded a file from here and got that renaming error. Tried another browser and still the same thing. Can anyone advise me on how to proceed please.

If you still have the problem, post the version and will recompile it, sometimes that works.
