I certainly think it is interesting that Facebook never provided a clear reason for it.

I will, thank you for that heads up! I'm surprised the media never picked it up though. Or maybe they did or I just didn't notice.

I don't use Facebook, among other things I've only found it too cluttered for my liking. I only found out when I got a call from a family member to ask me if it was loading for me.
Yes I have to agree with you I spent far to much time on there it was nice to have a break

Taking a break from social media and going out for a walk, for example, can be very refreshing - I'm speaking from personal experience.
