It's really bizarre that the EUR fell after Macron won. It makes no sense to me. Any opinions?

I believe it was widely expected Macron to win the elections... but here is the point. Where all together expect something to happen, most likely it will not happen. The market opened with gap - due to the news, and everybody was expecting that EUR/USD should rising further. This is a god point for the "big guys" to start closing their earlier long positions.

EUR/USD is just testing 1.09 support zone and further direction is not too clear. Clean break below 1.0890 may open the way for new sell-offs with initial targets 1.0870/75. Break above 1.0925 may led to new rising to 1.0950/55.
On the other side, small chart 1M and 5M suggest long for scalp @ 1.0906 with tight stop 1.0901 and target 1.0915/18 :)

The momentum to the upside has definitely ended for now. Let's see whether it will recover the gap.

EUR/USD - There are no significant support near, so the price most likely will continue down to 1.0825/30.

The pair rebounded from 1.0835 after all. I genuinely thought there will be a breakout to the downside.

We'll see. So far it has been rebounding from 1.0850 again and again.

EUR/USD - as the current bias is from the long side of this market, natural target are the levels around 1.1000/15 for short term.

I agree. The question is, I think, whether there will be a breakout above 1.1020.

The rally continues, EUR/USD broke well above 1.1020. Did anyone else open long positions?
